Extremely durable and all-American built, the King Cobra Target .22 LR is designed and engineered to be shot, with USA forged stainless steel construction. The one-piece stainless steel barrel is built for accuracy and is enhanced with an adjustable rear sight, fiber optic rear sight and oversized rubber Hogue grips.

At the annual meeting and exhibition (NRAAM) held in late May in Houston, Texas, Colt announced the expansion of the King Cobra line of double-action revolvers with the release of the new King Cobra Target .22LR rimfire model.
Colt's line of double-action revolvers was reintroduced in 2017 after a decades-long absence in Colt's attempt to return to the market it once dominated. With the new .22 Long Rifle King Cobra Target — not to be confused with the Colt King Cobra Target .357 Magnum revolver introduced in the summer of 2019 — Colt offers another great option for compact, sporting, small game, bug shooting. control, and as a defense and weapon for foreign interests.
Constructed entirely of stainless steel with a polished finish, the new Colt King Cobra Target 22 LR double-action revolver will be available with either 107.9mm or 152.4mm barrels (4.¼" or 6" BBL), as well as a tire. textured overmold grip for a positive and secure grip for precision shots; raised sight rib with red fiber optic face; and adjustable target-type rear sight.
