Anything can happen during a mission, and routine dialysis isn't always an option. With a good track record and selflessness, they certainly live by their faith -- “It's my duty as a lifeguard to save lives and help the injured. I will be ready at any time to do so.” I do my duty quickly and efficiently, and I put these things before my personal desires and pleasures, and I do these things so that others may live.

Once you enter the PJ Candidate Course, you will be physically challenged for 10 weeks at Joint Base San Antonio-Lackland, Texas. The first phase is known as team training and lasts for eight weeks. It consists of extensive physical training with swimming, running, weight training, calisthenics and obstacle courses. Educational training such as medical and diving terminology, CPR, firearms certifications and diving physics are also part of the candidate's course.

The need for medical services to be provided in aerial vehicles was predicted as early as 1922, but the idea was not put into practice until World War II. During the war, different units were formed to fulfill this role, with different equipment and training, and each unit operated on the assumption that there were survivors until proven otherwise.

After the war, the Air Force Air Force created the Air Rescue Service in 1946. 1947 saw the official addition of rescue jumpers when Dr. (Capt.) Pope B. "Doc" Holiday parachuted into Nicaragua to help workers evacuation paraplegics. B-17. Since then, rescue jumpers have served in Korea, Vietnam and in deployments around the world, including the Global War on Terrorism.

In addition to being expert divers, skiers and cross-country skiers, climbers and survivalists, Air Force Special Operators are also paratroopers ready to help from above.

Air Force Special Operators conduct missions around the world, often in hostile environments. For this reason, they must be multi-specialists who undergo intensive training in the water to be ready for any situation.
